NAIROBI SHORT EXCURSIONS

Nairobi National Park - 4 hours.
This day excursion starts either at 0800 hours or at 1400 hours. The Nairobi National park is located just about 10 kms away from the bustling city centre. Except for the elephant, this park is home to four members of the big five.

Nairobi City Tour - 3 hours
The Nairobi city tour begins at 0800 hours. The tour will include the city centre, city market, parliament buildings, the railway station and old Nairobi PC's office of the 1902.

Karen Blixen & the Giraffe Centre - 3 hours
This trip can be done either in the morning of in the afternoon. From the town centre, drive towards Ngong Hills passing through the Ngong village to the Karen Blixen Museum, for many years her home.

Bomas of Kenya
This tour begins after lunch. At 1400 hours, you are picked up you're your hotel and drive along the Langata road. Bomas of Kenya is just about 12 kilometres from the city centre and has numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya's variety of cultures.

The Carnivore Experience
Depending on whether it is for lunch or dinner, this tour departs at either 1200 hours and 1800 hours. The Carnivore Restaurant is famous for the succulent stew and barbecue dishes of game meat.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Day Trip
An early morning drive out of Nairobi and down the escarpment into the Great Rift Valley. The 2- hour drive passes through highland farms of the Kikuyu people, before descending into the dramatic landscape of the Rift Valley.
