CHEETAH SAFARI
The Masai Mara National Reserve offers some of the best Big Five

tribes in Africa. We let you share their cores and experience their
way of life. Also in Kenya, Lake Nakuru is ideal for bird-watching

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival, you are met by our Rep and transferred to the
Jacaranda Hotel. Set in the outside of Central Business District,
its in quiet Location. Pre-safari briefing is included late in the
evening. B,B
Day 2 Nairobi / Samburu Game Reserve
Meet your safari guide and head north through breathtaking scenery
dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee.
After Nanyuki town, you will reach the outpost known as Isiolo, the
last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier.
Descend from the lush highlands to the arid Laikipia Plains and the
small oasis of the famed Samburu Game Reserve. Samburu lies on the
fringe of the hot and sparsely populated northern region of Kenya.
In the afternoon, there will be a game drive returning to the lodge
as the sun sets. Samburu is renown as the northern Frontier and
famous for unusual animals.(B,L,D)
Day 3 Stay in Samburu Game Reserve
Samburu is home to a number of unusual animals and birds such as the
Grevy zebra, beisa oryx, dik dik, and ostrich. Also, keep your eyes
open for lion, cheetah and antelope on early morning and afternoon
game drives. The Uaso Nyiro River provides bathing pools for hippos
and elephants, and you may even spot a crocodile or a reticulated
giraffe. There is also a splendid variety of birds.The BIG FOUR can

Day 4 Samburu / Mt. Kenya
Leaving the Samburu, head south towards Mt. Kenya and the Mountain
Lodge, with spectacular views of the forested slopes and peaks of
the Aberdare Mountain Range along the way. The setting has served as
the inspiration for writers and artists over the years. Arrive at
the lodge in time for lunch. This is a tree lodge, set in a forest
glade with a waterhole that attracts a variety of wildlife, both day
and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground
viewing platform and photographers hideaway area.(B,L,D)
Day 5 Mt. Kenya / Great Rift Valley Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast for Nyahururu Falls. Then descend to the
floor of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru National Park. A game
drive takes you into the park, famous for its pink flamingos and a
sanctuary for hundreds of other species of birds as well as leopard,
black rhino and white rhino. Other Big Game includes the tree
Climbing Lions. This afternoon, enjoy another game drive as the sun
settles. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Great Rift Valley / Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Climb the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Head towards
the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which boasts a rich concentration of
wildlife. Driving through the plains with antelopes clearly visible,
you arrive on time for lunch and a short siesta. After lunch, a game
drive takes you through this vast park famous for GREAT WILDEBEEST
MIGRATION.(B,L,D)
Day 7Stay in Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives, affording
opportunities to search for the "big five" - elephants, buffalos,
lions, rhinos and leopards. The morning calm wind has made it
possible for Optional HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHTS.The more adventurous
can take an optional hot air balloon ride to see the park from a

Day 8 Masai Mara / Nairobi OVERNIGHT
Journey back to Nairobi by road. Enjoy a visit to the Nairobi's
National Museum. Dinner on this day is at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 9 Depart Nairobi
The day is at leisure to sample antics market and last minute
shopping until your transfer to the airport for your flight. Rooms
are reserved until 1800hrs. (B)
